I have three columns, column 1 has names, column 2 has a formula. I have 15 sheets, each with a name that could appear in column 1. If the cell in column 2, sheet 1 is Bob, I want it to pull H5 from sheet bob. That works as: =IF(A5="Bob", 'Bob Data'!H4, "Work in Progress") But if I build that formula for all the possible names, it's too long. Is it possible to pickup a TEXT based formula and related constants from other cells, and then place this into another cell as a functioning formula.
